One afternoon while in Costa Rica I was journaling by the side of the pool when the cutest little dragonfly landed right at the edge of the water. The way that the light danced through its wings was mesmerizing, and it sat still just long enough for me to get a photograph with my macro lens. I used that photograph for my reference photo while creating this tiny painting.
This is an original acrylic painting and the second of four in my “mini memories” series. The painting itself is 1 ½ x 2 ¼ inches , the whole paper is 2x2 ¾ in.
